  1. It looks like they sell them on wilcoworld sometime after the tour is over, if there's any left. It is a limited edition (mine is #2 of 250!)
  2. And you don't have to show up an hour before the doors open to get a good spot.
  3. Wilco probably chose to play at the Orpheum in Omaha because there isn't really another venue of that size(2500 seats), standing or seated. And they obviously picked the right size venue because it was almost-but-not-quite sold out. I personally was happy to have the show at the Orpheum because it has decent acoustics, and it's not an un-air conditioned shithole like the Sokol. However if there was a nice, standing only venue in Omaha, I would rather see Wilco there than at the Orpheum. Saddle Creek Records did just build an all-standing club/concert hall in Omaha that is really nice, but it's
  4. The local paper's review mentions the banter over the seats: http://www.omaha.com/index.php?u_page=2620...;u_sid=10156238
  5. My first time seeing Wilco and oh my god, it was awesome. There was definitely at least one taper there...I can't wait to get my hands on a copy of that. Great show, crowd took a while to get into it, probably because the Orpheum is more associated with symphony concerts than rock bands, people feel weird standing up and rocking out there. P.S. Now that he's "gotten to know us better", I hope he does come back soon for that "second date"
  6. No kidding. I went to one of his solo shows where he bitched at the audience twice for talking so much. Still a great show, but it would have been way better without the talking. And especially without the girl next to my shrieking in my ear. Would love a solo studio album if it was just Jeff and a guitar like the solo shows.
  7. I'd like to hear Gun. Watch Me Fall would be awesome, too.

    UT

I actually like UT better than Wilco. They're definitely one of my favorite bands, I really wish I had been old enough to see them live when they were still around.
  9. I bought tickets in the presale right at 10am, and got tickets right in the middle of row H. They rather obviously did not give the best seats to people buying in the presale, but anything in the first 15 or so rows of the center orchestra section are excellent seats.
