  5. Combing through this forum and came upon this old thread. I played a show at Billy Corgan's tea shop a couple of years ago, and he was there when I finished my set. Don't know if he actually saw me play anything or not, though. If he did, he didn't say anything when I talked to him (for a little bit, before his DJ set).
  6. Yeah. She's great. Have you heard this record? It's a trio that Lucy Dacus is also a part of. So, basically, Lucy has released 2 pretty great records this year.
  7. Shuffling this playlist of 2018 psych that I was sent from a friend of mine. Won't get through the whole thing, but it's quality curated listening until the end of the day. https://open.spotify.com/playlist/7nhJ26VAdEW3jBd4fdoywL
  8. My son took my car keys (and the keys to my desk and, therefore, my headphones and hard drive—which contains my music). So, today I'm checking out the playlist that Spotify made with recommendations for me. They've done well in the past with these. https://open.spotify.com/playlist/37i9dQZEVXcTWPnszy8RgO
  9. Milton Nascimento & Lo Borges - Clube da Esquina
  10. Didn't see many. Just a couple. But the best was Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever at Lincoln Hall (Chicago). Those boys ROCK, I tells ya!
  11. I had a beer with Jim and Nash Kato at Danny's back in 93 or so. I thought Jim was very sweet. But only met him the once (we had mutual friends).
  12. I was at The Replacements' final show -- in 1991, when the broke up on stage at Grant Park. I have no memories, however, of the two outstanding opening acts: NRBQ and Material Issue. I like both of those bands. A lot. And I did then, too. And I know that I was there for their sets. But I just don't remember anything about them. Damnit.
