Remember to pack some snack food for the plane on the way over because let's face it you are going FAR and you should have some things to eat...like granola bars, fruit snacks, you could even make your own snack mix from various cereals and stuff. Oh and definitely pack an outfit in your carryon because after being on planes for that long you'll probably want to change at some point...oh and deoderant (sp?) and wet wipes are always wonderful

I started using it ages ago...because it was easier to go there and listen to music friends talked about then going to every artists website and hoping for some tracks to listen to But I've been going nutty this week adding stuff I've heard other places.

According to lastfm my tastes are near to llynn's

You know..I wonder is there a way to do iron ons on them? We could make some Wilco Kaffiyeahs

Interlibrary loan was my friend...once...it was so lovely...until one day the library i have my card through decided they didn't have the money to be part of the program anymore..and they changed the system so you could ONLY do interlibrary loan through your own library...so until I find someone who will let me use their address in one of the cities..I am unable to use the system...right now if the library I'm at doesn't have the book I want, I have to drive to the library that does. Such a pain in the patoot. But I may just buy that book...it's only about $1 used online....the shipping costs more then the actual book.

 

And every one of you keeps raving about that United States of Arugula book I may have to check it out!

Edit: Grr none of the libraries in my area have the Dark Tide...

lol to rain on your parade i have no idea what you all are talking about but i'm intrigued and am going to have to go back in this thread to figure out the book title so i can borrow it from the library this week.

Maybe we should start another thread for What hot drink you like more..coffee, tea, etc...cause I hate coffee too!

Still listening to KEXP and now they are playing Handshake Drugs..the dj is a huge Wilco fan i emailed and requested any of their songs and got a reply Pretty sweet!

They were talking about this on the View...and said now Dunkin Donuts is getting even more attention so in a way it's a good thing.

 

But it's still stupid that people actually wrote the company and complained about this...

On the way back to work I had it on shuffle and heard one of the songs by The Autumn Defense, 'Written in the Snow' amazing song I need to check that out again!

I could ride to work...but it takes 1/2 hour to drive there..and there aren't bike lanes or sidewalks from my farm to my job...

I'm having a lazy day between having to be at work...for work and tonight for a meeting..boooo

 

so I finished Hot Six, read and am now reading

Luckily I went to the library before St Louis and got 5 of the books in the series at one time

They might not have it posted quite yet...unfortunately i didnt record it.

Stayed up late finishing the 5th book..when I had intended on only reading a chapter and going to sleep!

I filled up the other day..but today when I went in town I noticed that we are now at $3.99 for the Plus (cheapest kind) and over $4 for the rest.
