  1. There were two copies left on Friday when I went to Grimey's in Nashville. They were 69$. I didn't buy one because I don't love KT and it was a steep price. But now I'm thinking I should have bought them both and sold one for double on ebay and essentially get one for free.

  2. I bet WTA wouldn't be so low on people's list if it were marketed better as an album. By that i mean, having a more serious album name, better artwork and lack of the title track. There are great songs on there and it flows well together, but it's packaged more like a b-sides project and subconsiously fans are processing it that way.

Marketing roots run deeper than you think.

  3. Also, Jeff getting back up onstage during Jesus reminded me of Tobias rolling onto the gym stage to direct the school play in Arrested Development. It looked pretty pathetic haha. Anyway, good times! Thanks Wilco and Califone for being heavenly.

i also actually thought of that moment, considering i saw that episode just a few days ago... so funny

  4. I previously owned wta, sbs and Yhf on vinyl. So...

If anyone cares I got agib, summer, am and being there allmon vinyl for Xmas. Off amazon from my wife. Great gifts. Great inyls. I too love the single disc being there cd u get.

  5. I know nothing about your venue, just an observation, but I think when they start stating the letter of the row twice, like "DD", it's because they ran out of single letters, a through z, and had to start over, putting DD in the 30th row, not the fourth. Hate to piss on your picnic and I hope I'm wrong.

    not the case in hamilton.

the front row is aa and it goes back to hh, then A starts

    as per seating chart

  6. I thought about making a 3 CD Best of Set for Wilco and organizing them as;

Hard (the rock tunes ie; nothingsevergonna, Monday, heavy metal, box of letters)

Soft (the mellow tunes ie; jesus etc, either way, sky blue sky, how to fight loneliness)

Squishy (the experimental songs ie; misunderstood, Bull Black, IATTBYH, ALTWYS, Spiders, You are my face)

    Perhaps 10-12 songs per album.

Kind of like what Tom Waits did with Orphans.

If I get a good track list then I can make album artwork for each one

  7. thanks!

here is the track list i made for this album, mine is actually just a single disc in my itunes,

  8. There were some dudes selling these tees outside of Massey Hall. They were very much unlicensed, and sort poorly made, but they are great designs and the shirt only cost $10.

I got one. I liked them better then the official ones.

They were selling them out of their jackets.

The concert pic is the back and the camel is the front.

  9. How did everyone do re: Frontgate and the Hamilton show? I wore out the "refresh" button on my keyboard prior to the scheduled start-time and got "in" @ 6:58am (Vancouver time). Managed 2 in Row G which, initially, I thought was pretty good until I figured out that there are rows aa-hh ahead of the regular rows, which puts us at Row 14, about half-way back...hmmm.

well after losing my seats in row BB through frontage. I ended up buying some tickets today throighy hamilton's venue presale.

I got 2 tickets in row DD which is pretty sweet. Fourth row right near nels.

    Very thankful.
