Yes, that guy filled out 73 voter registration cards. I would still like to see how that translates into voting 73 times, or even twice. That's not how it works.
If they're for 73 different aliases, I would assume he might be able to go and vote 73 times.

I've got it on dobly, innit?

Please, one hypothetical example of how this is even theoretically possible.
Thanks.

I don't think anyone will be able to "miss" the rise
And right now, when that will happen is anyone's guess. I surely am hoping soon.
2-3 weeks from the bottom, is what I read from a hopeful report that crossed my desk today.

I have had this thought before.
I've always thought it strange too - he definitely seems to be unaffected (healty-appearancewise) by it. I just can't come up with a motive. This isn't like Jordan being forced out of the NBA because of his gambling...

Oh man, we got that here too. Def Leppard? Reaaalllyyy? Did anyone see when he put the Stanley Cup down, upside down??
Glad to see the Avs lose.
Ouch - I didn't watch the pre-show...

Who did they think they were F-F-F-Foolin?

That's almost sig-worthy. Like I said a few hundred pages back, he of all people should know better.
But... didn't McCain lose that nomination?

You'd think that evangelists would see parallels between Saul's conversion to Paul and Ayers's conversion from terrorist to do-gooder.

I've been diggin "God" lately since someone posted a lyric around here. John was a good guy.
The lyrics in the third segment certainly had new meaning after he was shot...
"The dream is over" and "and so my dear friends, you'll just have to carry on" - uy.

I like much of Rage Against the Machine's music. Leftist lyrics aside, it's great music. I think it's somewhat shallow just to say you disagree with someone that they're not saying something worth listening to. Good Old Neon has cited several examples of conservative thinkers he like. I doubt he usually agrees with them.
Right, but I'm assuming RATM's fans are mostly liberal. I don't know what the split is, but I think it's safe to assume it isn't 50/50. A conservative in their fanbase is a rare find, is all I'm saying. I don't have a survey handy, but that's my thesis on the RATM demographics.

I don't really consider Wilco a political band anyway... Sure they endorse Obama, but I don't hear a political agenda in their music.
I'd be more surprised to discover a conservative who loves Rage Against the Machine, or a person who isn't deaf that likes the sound of Jay Farrar's voice.

Very psyched to see the banner raised tonight.

I wonder how many women Bill has boned. If he weren't "married", he would probably be claiming more hits than ol' Wilt Chamberlain.
Are you saying that being married gave HIM pause? or gave his conquests pause? I doubt being married factored into either... A slut's a slut.

I Must Be High. - It feels like summer to me.

But keep in mind that Busta Jones plays bass on the later period stuff on that album.
I think on many songs he and Tina are both playing but she also plays some keyboards.
Didn't realize that - but when I was writing the post, I was thinking specifically of "New Feeling"

You have got to be kidding me. Wake the fuck up. If you can't see how both parties are responsible for this mess, then all hope is lost.
QFT. The Dems during the W era were not the opposition party, they were the "play ball!" party.

I am with you. I watched it for the first time a few weeks ago. Cringeworthy stuff. She is just not funny, to me anyway. That black guy in the cast is unbearable too.
We rented the 1st season last week. Meh. Didn't get past episode 2. I've seen this in a better form - it's called The Larry Sanders Show.

I'd put a lot of money on Toronto NOT being last in the Eastern Conference.
Is there an "If" and another clause missing from this sentence?
like "if they weren't obviously the worst team in the Eastern Conference..."?

Then why wasn't he? He obviously brought something tangible to the band or else he wouldn't be in the band.
Because they're good friends?
I didn't say that he sucks, I'm just saying he's the least-talented of the 4.

Bono
I would say that the talent line of U2 from worst to best (to be used as a guide for who would be easiest to replace) would be
Adam Clayton
Larry Mullen Jr.
The Edge
Bono
Clayton could be replaced by someone who has been playing bass for 1 year or less, versus there's not many people who have the range to sing The Unforgettable Fire.

Garfunkel.

Roger Daltrey. He's done some great vocal work, but he's a cheeseball and The Who (or whatever band Pete and the boys would've formed without him) would be one of my favorite bands if he didn't exist.
You no like-a da running-in-place and de mike-twirl?
Isn't it time for a new election thread?!
