Yea, Jimmy O's solo stuff is pretty incredible. I actually got to meet him when he played with Sonic Youth in Northampton, MA a couple of years ago. He seemed...frightened to be approached by someone who knew who he was. His response to my complimenting his old solo stuff was something along the lines of 'Yea, I don't do that anymore.' What a champ!
