SO how expensive are drinks here? Do they even have concessions?
-
I had a soc teacher that had different dates for that whole deal - his belief was that the baby boom extended to 1967. There is also the tweener label.
I report... you decide.

As much as I would like to claim Bob Dylan as part of "my generation" he is actually from the one before, since he was born May 24, 1941 near the start of WWII and not after the war. Neil Young is right on the cusp at November 1945. The Baby Boom started in 1946 when the troops returned home and actually had time to make some babies. Actually born in 1967, Jeff is just at the tail end of the boom and just at the beginning of whatever Gen X is.

The boom is usually recognized as having ended around 1959-60. By 1967 early baby-boomers themselves were beginning to have children.

So what is wrong with letting them discuss what their taste is.
The nays have it.
I never said they couldn't discuss it.
Because they like bad coffee relative to good coffee and relative to really bad coffee and this not an opinion...this is FACT.What?

Will anyone here be taping this show?

BREAKING NEWS: Some People Have Different Tastes Than You
- Experts say that everything will be okay

Prairie Wind is amazing, and Greendale has a couple of my favorite Neil songs. Check out "Bandit".

Any one here going? Not the greatest sounding venue, but shelled out the 81 bucks, only for Bob though.
I thought about it but once I saw the ticket prices and remembered how much I HATE the venue and how bad his voice was last tour, I opted not to.
-
holy shit if this is true...
-
I'd appreciate it if you all could take a minute and vote for Theologians for this show. I'd love to hear it and its currently the 3rd most requested song for the show...

Apparently there's a "Restaurant 812" at that site now and it looks quite expensive.

Pearl Jam played the Borgata in Atlantic City a few years back, and The Who are playing there in the fall. Maybe I don't understand why playing a casino is a bad thing...?
-
Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant are on the waterfront, about 1 mile from the venue.

Don't remember how I first heard of them, but I got It Still Moves a few months before Z came out. I liked ISM, but Z really hit me like a ton of bricks. It really was a departure from what I listened to and got me into different genres of music. I was instantly addicted. Then, in the summer of 2006 I saw them open for my favorite band in the world, Pearl Jam. As a diehard PJ fan it was hard for me to admit they kinda blew them out of the water those nights. About 2 months after that I saw a Jim James solo show, then that December a full-blown MMJ show.
Now MMJ has become my favorite band, just edging out PJ and Wilco. I just went to their Radio City show, got home and booked a flight to Louisville to see them in their hometown, and I'll be seeing them in Philly and in NYC for New Years.
-
Wow... didn't realize so many people fom the MMJ board were here too.
This was an amazing show.... inspired me and my friend to get tickets to their Louisville show, in addition to the Philly and New Years shows we are already going to.
WOW!
-
I wonder if Wilco has ever had a 30 page thread on the MMJ board?
