  1. ^yeah, thanks, but if it's gonna be a d/l, not a physical box, I will take the non-legal path...

As for what Lamny says, I'm not sure that what is circulating in a billion sites are the Betty boards. Those boards are candy to my ears

  2. It's being impossible for me..I have entered my non-US zip code about 20 times and the stupid robot keeps insisting I have to enter a zip postal. Will they want sell only to American customers? I'm sure by the time it recognizes my zip all will be sold out. I am left with illegal d/l and such. Thanks Rhino, you lose, I will get it anyway, only will miss the book

  3. My favorite is Promised Land -- Garcia always seems to rip it behind Weir vocals and rhythm - I never tire of that tune.

The whole below verse gets me every time. Garcia is always great.

Los Angeles give me Norfolk Virginia,

    Tidewater four ten O nine

Tell the folks back home this is the promised land callin'

And the poor boy's on the line.

Same here. My 2nd favorite vocal intrussion by Jerry in Bob-sung tunes would be in I Know you rider, and the 3rd Jack Straw. Any others...?

  4. "A note from Roger: The resistance begins today," Waters' Facebook posted Friday. The video comes from Waters' late-September concert gigs at Mexico City's Foro Sol in front of a massive audience that didn't appreciate Trump calling Mexicans "rapists" or threatening to build a wall.
During the song, Waters' video screens showed artist-made images of Trump toting a machine gun outside the White House, giving the Nazi salute and surrounding himself with KKK members.

  5.

There are a lot listed there and in some type of foreign language, too. I'm not sure I like the ones with the stands as much as the ones you just sit on.

Come on, it's not Martian or Swahili. Anyway, it's played between the legs and sine qua non gear for many latin and flamenco groups (not my thing, but still). It's played putting it between the legs and some are very expensive, and sound fantastic. Mickey Hart sure knows better...
  6. Some great footage of people out of their minds on the train, particularly Danko.

From what I recall, Pigpen is only seen on stage not in the train scenes. Is this the time when he was engaged with Janis?. I think I read somewhere that They Love each other was composed by Hunter and Garcia while sitting on the railroad tracks

  7. I was listening to the sample tracks and I noticed Bird Song (and the rest) seemed too fast. Is this the tape or were they playing that fast in 1981? I know nothing about Dead shows from that time period.

Just heard a few mp3 tunes caught from the Archive of the upcoming DP 20. In Jack Straw, Bob loses his mind, forget the words and the entire band derails, maybe the worst JS I can recall. Didn’t notice the accelerated pace in Bird Song though. And the China Rider are great, especially the jam in between
