Found myself doing karaoke with the Loser in Sept 28 1972, with an almost inaudible Jer. Great audio to appreciate Bobby's work

I am up to 1974 - which is about 2/3rds of the book -- real good, thus far. They interviewed some of the Dead office workers - which for me is kinda cool - a different perspective of the events.
I also enjoyed the book. One thing I learned I never heard of before was a supposed meeting in Bob's studio with Van Morrison in the blues for Allah sessions era, the only connection of dead & van I know of (except JGB's covers of VM). Anyone has more info or links about this?

I could be listening the Complete Europe '72 boxset every day for the rest of my life. Maybe alternating with May '77

Anyone in the NY area catch any of these JRAD shows at the Brooklyn Bowl this weekend? Incredibly hot shows by all accounts. I was in NYC this weekend, but at the Beacon on Saturday night. This band does GD music like no other.

I'd really like to see JRAD.
Anyone get a case of GD Cabernet? Shouldn't the bottle be dusty?

Bought today the 'definitive live 4 cd box'. Started randomly with disc 2. The Scarlet Begonias (Detroit 10/3/76) is stellar

Keep looking, that will be a long search.... ha ha ha!
Shorter than for Hey Jude though

I'm loyal, unassuming and intrinsically groovy. I'm also happen to be outrageously talented
(I didn't know).
Ergo, John.

Will that app work on a Mac? Is it free?
It's absolutely free. You can download the full show in a compressed zip or either on a track-by-track basis. I dont know nothing about Mac though.

I feel ya, dude!
I get overwhelmed like that too, sometimes. And in those times, its astounding to me that more people don't get it.
. The Dead were an incredible American artistic and cultural institution in a league by themselves. An easy target for ridicule by the ignorant and the opportunistic, for sure. but I predict the more time passes the higher esteem the Grateful Dead will be held in by people who understand.
Well said!
Have you guys tried the grateful grabber? https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/grateful-grabber/oaodbbeaklbdmjcghbkcfgmioafnjbfe
I think you can download even only-stream shows. But shhhhh

Sing Me Back Home
I'm sure a lot of people think that is weird to dance to a recording rather that a real live performance, but I didn't.
I do it almost every day!
