My buddy in Orlando is going to game 2 and game 6 if needed...very jealous

Im not too worried about a let down for the Rays, now the Rockies last year had like 14 years off before the WS and I think that hurt them, the Rays have had to fight & claw for the last few days while the Phils have been told how great they are and how much better they are than their 1993 team blah blah....I think it will be a great series and I will actually be shocked if someone wins in 4 or 5, they are very evenly matched, if the Phils have an edge its with that bullpen but I think the Rays have better starting pitching....heres to a 7 game series

I'd give my left nut to go to a WS game, I dont even care who was in it, I tried last year for Red Sox-Rockie tickets in Denver and for Cardinal-Tiger tickets in 06 and Cardinal-Red Sox tickets in 04 but Ticketmaster f**ked up both times...not bitter at all!

Fontes at least made the playoffs now and again
Lions jokes are just too easy, much more fun to make fun of a team like the Cowboys who have all that talent and arent doing jack

thats what I have hear, I have been to Reckling where Rice plays and Baylor ballpark which are great but need to get to Baum and Alex Box at LSU someday

Detroit Lions fan here....hopefully one day they will join this NFL I have heard so much about

Congrats to the Rays, especially the bullpen who really did a good job fighting through a couple tough innings last night.
I remember a Friday night in Fayetteville Nick Schmidt vs David Price...that was a killer matchup
huge college baseball fan here
Rays in 7...they lose game one, game 4 and 5 and rally to win game 6 and 7 at homes....should be a hell of a series...I love how its teams you only know if you follow the game, the ratings will be terrible haha...oh well
Cole Hammels and Scott Kazmir who will probably go in game one for the Rays would be a very fun matchup
-
remember the name David Price, this kid will be special, he has Cy Young caliber stuff
congrats to the Rays, Im glad I was wrong

love the oil can boyd username, that takes me back to my Topps cards 20 years ago
Again Im pulling for the Rays but I just dont see it, too many things are going right for Boston right now, the Rays had a championship team on the ropes and couldnt knock them out, the self destruction has been hard to watch, I think Garza pitches well enough to win tonight but Lester brings his A game, I will say 4-3 Sox with a 2 inning save for JP, again if this game is close I think Kazmir needs to be the closer tonight for TB, they need to pull out all the stops and their bullpen is just not good right now

Welcome! Have a nice time!
I dont mind talking religion and/or politics, lots of people find those topics taboo but I really dont see it that way, we are all entitled to our own opinions, I might think they are stupid but thats what maes our country great

the TBS F**k up was ridiculous, nothing against Steve harvey but its October! I thought I was gonna lose it and Im not even a Sox or Rays fan, I can only fathom how pissed id be if it was my team
Anyway, Im going for the Rays in this series, its a feel good story being worst to first and small market and whatnot plus I work with this really arrogant Red Sox fan but what a heartbreaking loss tonight, the stars were really aligned to win tonight, home cookin and Sheilds on the mound who was great at home all year (9-2 with a 2.59 ERA and 15 of 17 starts were quality) and Beckett not at 100% whatsoever, the Rays didnt force the issue near enough tonight, not much hit & running or stealing of bases, this isnt a mashing team and I feel like the last two games they have sat back and waited for the long ball and forgot the formula that got them this far, big big win for Boston and I give the Rays little to no chance tomorrow, an experienced championship team now smells blood in the water, Lester wont pitch as bad as he did in game 3 again and can Garza pitch as well as he did in game 7 again? I dont see it....if its a close game late tomorrow the Rays maybe have to use Edwin Jackson or even Scott Kazmir (maybe in a save situation?) out of the pen, Balfour is done right now and on another planet and Howell & Bradford have been overworked....I hope Im wrong and the Rays shock the world tomorrow night, fingers crossed for no Steve Harvey!
