  1. I saw him in Milw. at the Pabst last night (my first Trey solo) and I am curious if anyone who has seen him on this tour can compare to previous TAB tours...happy Trey was definitely on stage last night.

  2.

i think my favorite shirt is probably the Wii-lco one, or the red one from SBS with the tennis shoes on the line

My favorite is definitely the SBS pre-order shirt with the tennis shoes...it fits me perfectly. Just wore it yesterday and I got a few thumbs up.

  3. At night one of the UIC shows I was in the seats, stage left, and most were standing...but there was a group of 8-10 older folks sitting behind me. If I was the only one standing, I would have sat down, but in this case, if someone in front of me is standing - I stand. If you want to sit behind me and watch my ass dance...go ahead.

  4. I was looking for an amp online today and saw one of the reissues at this place in Lincoln Square, Chicago: www.rocknrollvintage.com under "other new guitars" for $995.00. Not too far from where your profile places you. Good Luck!

(gasp) that's right up/in my alley...thanks stagerug...although out of my price range, I would like to sit down with the '69-'71...but this reissue (I assume) could realistically come home with me...good find, great share...

  5. Rolling Stone posted artist predictions for the Grammy's and Wilco made it into the mind of Aubert, saying:

"Wilco is the best American band around. Just like Radiohead, it's always amazing when bands that have been around for a while just keep putting out albums that are just as, if not more relevant than, the one before. Jeff Tweedy is one of the best signers and lyricists today. His lyrics are like poems. It feels like this is a record made by a band that are very comfortable with who they are. I mean, they have a song called "Wilco." Humor is something that you kinda can feel, and if you ever have seen them play, or Jeff talk, he is one of the funniest men around."

  6. After this year's halftime show with The Who, I think it's time to put J. Jackson's nipple in the past and modernize the halftime entertainment. I enjoyed Petty, B. Spring, P. Mac and the Stones (well, no, they sounded terrible) but can the SB continually dip into that well?

    Next year's halftime performance/entertainment...ideas?
