Surprised I agreed with an Ian Cohen review, and it wasn't too pretentious

I've been listening to "Magnetized" on repeat. This happens to me with probably a few songs a year, but man Magnetized is such a beautiful song. I love Mikael's synth sound in the opening minute of the song (one of my biggest complaints from the pitchfork set was that it wasn't loud enough). And the fuzzy "Brian May" sounding octave part is absolutely incredible. This song and I are, in fact, Magnetized.

It's definitely my favorite on the record.

So my perception of the art and the name of the album is that they released the album on social media. What are the biggest things on Facebook? Cat videos and Star Wars trailers. The force awakens is the number one viewed trailer of all time.

I'm in awe. Today has been seriously fucked up for my city, and I've been sort of zombified reading the news all day, and this is just amazing.

When I came to town for a Winterlude show, I went to the CMA for David Bowie Is - great exhibit

I really enjoyed Jeff's notes for the songs as he went through & listened to them...you could see some of his humor bleeding through on older tracks

I seem to recall they met up in February at the Loft to record, could be wrong

Definitely agree on John finding his inner Chilton, he sounded great. Opened with IATTBYH, and it was great to see Via Chicago/Camera/Magazine.

After they played Dark Neon, Jeff mentioned "That's probably the last Japanese B-side of the night...". He seemed to be in very good spirits, solid performance.

So, Wilco just told me on Twitter that I am on the list for a free ticket with a plus one (I made a joke about selling platelets to buy tickets, but I wasn't planning on going since I saw them in Tally and West Palm and am 4 hrs away) - soooo guess I am driving to St. Augustine in an hour.

Read that he has been playing Autumn Leaves, in addition to Stay with Me. How did Autumn play out with the crowd. (assuming he played it in Memphis)

He sounded good & clear playing the new songs, Autum Leaves was received very well by the crowd.

Saw Dylan last night at the beautiful Orpheum in Memphis. The intermission was rather long, but I thought he & the band were spot on - a solid show.

I'm thinking the Civic is right up their alley; that'd be awesome

Boxer is an absolutely fantastic album from start to finish, and I love Alligator as well.
