A few things I've found interesting:
-Nothing Up My Sleeve is a secondary title to Anniversary. Did we know this?

-The three versions of Laminated Cat will be the first official Wilco studio release of this song

-What is "American Aquarium"? I would have guessed an early IATTBYH but it's sequenced right after an alternate version of IATTBYH, so maybe not?

-Won't Let You Down is not included, unless it's under a different name

-The only way to get the WXRT songs on vinyl is from the 7LP set, which is missing a lot of the outtakes. As a collector, this is my worst nightmare.

Anniversary is the title of the song on the Roadcase sets that feature it.

  2. I remember Jeff saying that when they made agib they had material to make a garage/punk record, a noise rock record and a folk record but they ended up weaving an eclectic album.

    My holy grail!

  3. Someone told me that Daniel Johnston's True Love Will Find You In The End was on the printed setlist as the show closer, but unfortunately it wasn't played, perhaps due to the time crunch. I didn't get a look at a printed list, so I can't totally verify that, but it sounds like a good bet.

It must be because we are usually so spoiled with such great shows, but I was a little bummed with the strict 2 hour limit decision. Still a total blast, the new record sounds great live.

This show probably had the least Pre-YHF songs that I have ever seen. Loved seeing Mikael on the guitar.

I broke my "no photo" rule a few times...

  4. I'd say so. Features Jeff and Glenn, too.

I agree.  Eureka is a close second.  Bad Timing is more for people who really like "that kind of thing".

Thanks guys, Bad Timing was the only one I had heard and I can't say I loved it.

  5. Real nice

I'm one of the 2,000 Wilco fans just punished by cancelling my local Indianapolis date, THU May 7, due to our dumb ass Governors decision to sign the recent religious freedom act.  If they are not cancelling the entire tour leg, EXCEPT OHIO, then what's the point?

http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/the-fix/wp/2015/03/27/19-states-that-have-religious-freedom-laws-like-indianas-that-no-one-is-boycotting/  Idaho, Arizona, New Mexico,Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Illinois, IndianaMissouri, Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, W Virginia, Pennsylvania, Connecticut Road Island

Cancel the entire tour leg minus Ohio then your making a point!

WILL SUPPORTERS OF THE INDIANA CANCELLATION be returning your tickets for any of these dates?

Do some reading and get rid of your governor.

  6. The band repeated the first song of the night after it was discovered that the house music that was being played in between bands was still up during the first song.

Jeff mentioned that Sue and Sam were in attendance. I'm fairly certain they were sitting right behind me with Jeff Garlin.

Jeff also noted that the begining of the show was like the first half of a Lakers game. Meaning half the place was empty, apparently it's illegal to show up on time to a show in Los Angeles.

    [rant]

I will never understand buying a ticket to a show and just causally wandering in, making an entire row of people stand up so your late ass can find your seat, 3 or 4 songs into the set.

  7. FYI - Tix are available RIGHT NOW if you sign up for the Greek P.A.S.S. on their website.  Its free to sign up - no commitment other than Greek Theater spam.

Unless I'm missing something, it does not show where you'll be sitting for each price tier.

You guys think it's better to get one now, or wait for the public sale date or wilco presale and actually be able to pick my exact seat?

  8. He might vary the TWEEDY set by a song or two...Between Buffalo & Ithaca (a week apart) there were differences... unique to Buffalo- "Pigeons" & "Why, Why, Why" & "Please Don't Let Me Be So Understood" for encore... unique to Ithaca- "Honey Combed" & "Wait For Love" & "Jesus Wept" for encore...so you could have a few song minor variation...

Cross over for the acoustic set (12 songs in Ithaca...14 in Buffalo including a final acoustic encore) were 5 songs- "I Am Trying To Break Your Heart", "New Madrid", "Jessus Etc.", :The Ruling Class" & "I'm The Man Who Loves You"

My bet is there will be a couple songs of variation in the TWEEDY set & encores, & that you'll get a pretty different, maybe completely different, solo acoustic set each night.

Thanks so much, that's what I was hoping for.
