I have never stood in line ever - until I went to Chicago - It was interesting. OF course, it got us next to the stage - but there was also a dude standing next to us who had showed up right as they were letting people in.

Bobby called in to KPFA last night during the Grateful Dead marathon. We talked about the February 4 Deadheads for Obama show, and about the importance of participating in the political system - and Bob told one brief but fascinating story about two pieces of music.

The sort of movie that you use to be able to see on AMC. I would like to mention the ongoing role he played on Third Watch.

I like that sort of thing - there is a pretty cool one on the first James Gang album.

When looking at Phish set lists, I see that they call that sort of thing a tease.

Anyone have a thought on why 2 episodes out of 3 on a dvd would not player on my DVD player, but would play on my computer? That is, the first episode on the disc played fine on the dvd player, and the next two would not - but they would play using the dvd player on my compuer. This is a multi disc TV show set (Highlander) - and so far, that is the first problem I have had.

Oh - I don't know if I ever saw that.

I won't buy the album - but it was cool to watch them playing that show. Please Read The Letter seemed alright. Although she has talent that I will never have - I find her music to be boring and generic as hell. I could think of other women he could have done this with - Neko Case, for one.

What if the music puts the good ideas into action?

I am not sure why some of those people are even on the stage with them (actually I do - Mick likes to keep current) - this comes out in April. I wish they would put Ladies and Gentlemen: The Rolling Stones (1973) out on dvd.
