Still waiting for my confirmation #.  Very frustrating, but as long as the box shows up in good condition (unlike my copy of Nels' new record which had the sleeve bent to hell and a scratch on the vinyl), it'll be all good.

i just got mine in the mail today. Its in a larger box it should come in a good shape!

  2. i think its just him serving the song the best he can. I reference The Band a LOT when I talk to people about musicians who aren't exactly "classically trained" but you know its them when you listen to a song with them on it. You can tell its every member of The Band. Thats what I think of when I hear Being There and Summerteeth. Just a guy who had a sound.

  3. Still sort of a bit of an amateur but I've been shooting with a Canon 5D since the late summer and I'm really loving it and got some decent shots towards the end of the year

These two are from a Manchester Orchestra show in Asbury Park

  4. I'm not quite sure John lives in Portland. I live here and am out and about quite a bit I think he lives up mid-coast. But he does post a lot of Maine attractions on instragram. I also scanned his ticket at the Spoon show a couple weeks back at the State Theatre.

Great show! Perfect night. Thompsons Point is a great spot.

Did anybody notice that they are playing things slower lately? I'm sure its gotta be conscious discussion

  5. Solid Sound 2013 - My friend and I went together, hit up a walmart to buy some supplies - chips, salsa, cheddarwurst, and 30 rack of Coors Light.

We woke up feeling really dehydrated the second day after sleeping at the Solid Ground campsite but immediately started cookin' cheddarwurst and drinking Coors Light at around 9am. Only to have the mayor of North Adams drop by.
"hey guys! What're you up to?"

    "Drinking beer and eating cheddarwurst"
    "...really?"

Nice guy. talked to him for a few mins about how the festival is helping the local economy. Great time

  6. hey Virginia beer lovers... check it!

    Trillium is great!

I also know the guys from Highroller Lobster Co. used to live below them in my last apartment here in Portland, ME. Awesome!

Speaking of Portland there's a great brewery called Bissell Brothers that is absolutely killing it. Great unfiltered hop bombs. My favorite beers hands down.

  7. The vans and people driving were employees from State Theatre. Pat and Glenn were in Hyundai. And the rest of the band and head security (for Wilco) was in the other van. It was really funny to watch them drive up so fast and jump out. I was first in line so I got to see the action pretty close up.

haha that was my friends girlfriend. She drove by waving at me with this giddy smile

  8. Preemptive post for tomorrow's show at the State Theatre! So pumped to see them again in my hometown!

Did anybody get a wrist band for their acoustic set at Bullmoose Music? Might be a few left if you go buy Star Wars on vinyl!

And if y'all wanna keep the party going my band will be performing Yankee Hotel Foxtrot 2 blocks down the street at Empire right after Wilco plays their final note! If you have a Wilco ticket stub you can get in for $4 in stead of 6!

  9. i came upon a 1967 Grestch Champagne sparkle club kit. FOR FREE. Really needed to be polished up, new heads, and a couple other things. I didnt have the money at the time to get it in working order plus I really needed money to get rid of some debt/be able to actually live so i sold it to my friends dad who made it look wicked nice. I hate to live with regrets but I definitely regret that move. If i could I'd go back in time and smack myself in the face for even thinking of selling it
