Good for you! I wanted to make the Lucero show tonight, but coming off SS weekend I didn't know if I would be up for it energy wise. I think I made the correct decision, but I probably would be fine, Lucero would lift me up. I'll be at Isbell tomorrow.
Good shoot me a pm with a cell and again we can try to say hello perhaps after the opener ..

George Clinton & Punk did a surprisingly strong show last night in Beverly at The Cabot. I had low expectations having seen a mailed in performance the House of Blues earlier in the year.
George was in decent voice and the band was full of energy with the usual circus like fun atmosphere he had the audience dancing all night.

Winston Yep 20 bucks each discounted down due to sluggish Sunday Night sales. Interesting point about Clapton a few years later ( middle 90s ) We can then The Rolling Stones for breaking the 100.00 ceiling.

Tried just a little too late for tickets this summers appearance. It's sold out with a registered que for cancellations. I registered, received number 289 in line.
Last performance there was tremendous.

"Full House" is a ripping album. RIP J Geils!
Heard it for the first time as a 12 year old, from a next doors neighbors outdoor speakers, in Dorchester MA in the 70s. It got a grip on me. Have not shaken it yet.
Just saw Peter Wolf last Saturday.

Agreed, he's also got a solid band behind him, same one for years.
Tonight was Brit Floyd it was as good as a Pink Floyd Cover Band could be. They are better than the Aussie version imho.

Seeing Our Local's Dropkick Murphy's Wrap up a 5 night end of tour with the usual Fundraiser tonight.
The Band has raised over 2 million for their Chaddagh Fund who's primary mission is aiding those with substance abuse.
