  1. I tried to get my sister into Wilco a few years ago by having her listen to Kicking Television. Midway through the "nothings" she turned and asked if my CD was broken. Some people just don't get it.

  2. It's such a layered song with so many subtle things going on in the background that it really benefits from repeated listens. Its definitely one I'm looking forward to seeing how it will be performed live. I also think its important to listen to it loud.

  3. With the new album coming next month, if you're like me you've probably started re-listening to the back catalog. This is a topic that's discussed often, but never gets old. So let's rank the studio albums. Personally, I'm going to exclude the Mermaid Avenue work and stick to original material.

    1. Being There

    2. A Ghost Is Born

    3. Yankee Hotel Foxtrot

    4. Wilco (The Album)

    5. Sky Blue Sky

    6. Summerteeth

    7. A.M.

  4. I actually thought it was a good interview. Many times around the release of a new album the pieces focus solely on the same repeated info trying to push the release. Taken in the context that its a St. Louis publication, and Uncle Tupelo started in St. Louis, I thought it covered some interesting topics from the early days, rather than focusing solely on The Whole Love. Good song too, going to be interesting to see how different it is with the whole band. Great find, xTonyWonder.

  5. I've watched this about a dozen times and it fires me up each time. I noticed that Pat is credited as a co-producer on this one, and judging solely from these short clips I think his increased involvement is a very good thing. This record is released the day after I turn 30, and I can't think of a better present.
