Cerys in at The Scala on 26th July as a warm up.
You do know that Jenny Lewis is a Shepherds Bush at the end of this month too (not that I'm going)?.

Man poking head out of window: "How much do you make per block"
Stan/Ollie: "About a dime"
Man poking head out of window: "Here's a quarter. Move down two blocks"
(paraphrasing from memory)

When do the tickets go onsale?
Is it confirmed that Emmylou is on the Sunday?
Would love to catch Cerys as well.
- 10am Sunday 30th April. Phone or post (no online service)
- I believe so - according to the semi-offical Emmylou website. Apparently the headline does not actually appear last on the bill on Sunday, to allow for people leaving a bit earlier that day to get home (would suit me)
- Indeed. An Uggi uggi uggi would be mandatory.

I never thought it would happen
With me and the girl from Clapham
Out on a windy common
That night I ain't forgotten
When she dealt out the rations
With some or other passions
I said you are a lady
Perhaps she said I may be
We moved into a basement
With thoughts of our engagement
We stayed in by the telly
Although the room was smelly
We spent our time just kissing
The Railway Arms we're missing
But love had got us hooked up
And all our time it took up
I got a job with Stanley
He said I'd come in handy
And started me on Monday
So I had a bath on Sunday
I worked eleven hours
And bought the girl some flowers
She said she'd seen a doctor
And nothing now could stop her
I worked all through the winter
The weather brass and bitter
I put away a tenner
Each week to make her better
And when the time was ready
We had to sell the telly
Late evenings by the fire
With little kicks inside her
This morning at 4:50
I took her rather nifty
Down to an incubator
Where thirty minutes later
She gave birth to a daughter
Within a year a walker
She looked just like her mother
If there could be another
And now she's two years older
Her mother's with a soldier
She left me when my drinking
Became a proper stinging
The devil came and took me
From bar to street to bookie
No more nights by the telly
No more nights nappies smelling
Alone here in the kitchen
I feel there's something missing
I'd beg for some forgiveness
But begging's not my business
And she won't write a letter
Although I always tell her
And so it's my assumption
I'm really up the junction

Who does that Family Gardener song?
Minus 5 - Down With Wilco

Hey now, I don't think Chris/Damon would appreciate that!
Good point, but I think he's just waiting for his other half. We've all been there haven't we?

Jeff mate. Someone must have given you wrong directions. That's obviously the Ladies loo - there's always a queue. You should have gone to find the Gents.

... and also got to see me pre-shower after running around all day doing errands/cooking/cleaning
You know, there's being generous with stories, and then there's too much information!

I just thought it was better to address the requests for copies of the show upfront. Backup? Someone?
Absolutely understandable. I'm not a huge collector of shows myself, although I have a select few that I treasure (thanks to those who B&P'd to me - you know who you are!), but it strikes me that this was such a personal experience that it actually might not be too enjoyable to hear as someone who was not actually present. It would feel like prying. And that's quite apart from the fact that you forked out to the charity to earn the right to be there in the first place. You have been more than generous with the pictures and stories (and putting up with the odd bad joke from people like me - speaking of which - a couple follow).

I really apologize for posting the Jeff In Line for the Loo photo ...
A domestic scene from this evening (no access to those hosting sites at work)
Wife: What are you doing now?
Me: Just logging on to look at a picture of Jeff Tweedy, you know, from Wilco, queueing to go to the loo.
Wife: Mentalist!

To someone distant from it all, it was nice to see that your group was open in its preparations for bidding and arrangements. And now you are sharing the event too. It is to your great credit. Thankyou!
That second picture posted above is just brilliant.
Also, I'd like to see Edie's dining table if those are all the chairs from it Must be like the court of King Arthur in there

Maybe that option could be for paying members?
Not trying to make things exclusive (I'm a silver skinflint myself) - just a thought on 'perks' to encourage people for the next year.

I have seen a button, I swear, but can't see it when I look on any thread/message now.

For those of you who don't know, I run the Wilco setlist database at wilcobase.com. In addition to setlists, I like to include pictures from as many shows as possible.
There's been tons of pictures posted here recently...
I've tried to keep up and contact the owner to get permission to post them on wilcobase.com, however, I just can't keep up. Also, sometimes it's difficult to find all the pictures since they get mixed in with the After The Show discussions.
So, here's what I'm proposing... If you have pictures of Wilco shows (recent or otherwise), and you wouldn't mind having them included on wilcobase, I'd love to hear from you. You can post links to your pictures in this thread. If you don't have the ability to post the pictures online, just post a message here, and I'll contact you and we can make arrangements for me to host the pictures.
Here's a link to the recent pictures I've added to the site to give you an idea on how it will look when I include your pictures:

Thanks,
Rob
Just thought it mught be useful to have your message in a pinned thread

I'd like the interface to be more like Excel, say, so it blends in more at work. Those bloody yellow smilies on the list are a giveaway!

Edited when my sense of decency finally cut in - see above. Does it work?

(+ sign to far right on same line as Board Statistics text?)
