What a great show! Even though my seat was so high that Orion the Hunter sat two seats over, it was a show to remember. I would go again in a moment's notice.
Glad you enjoyed it. I'm still buzzing over it two days later! I got incredibly lucky on seating. A close friend of mine happens to be on the board of directors for the Auditorium Theater and "handled" our tickets. We ended up in the second row. It was sublime

Joining the David Byrne party tonight.
Prepare to have your mind blown. It was unreal and surreal at the same time. I saw him seven years ago when he toured and, at the time, thought it was the greatest show I had ever attended. Last night's show was even better.

I'm happy Jeff gets to play with this group of friends and family he's comfortable with, but I'm disappointed Jim Elkington isn't joining them. He's a phenomenal guitarist and adds so much to the sound.
Agree with you on Jim Elkington.

Since site was down, I could not post aboutseeing The Who in Chicago. Great time...and said my goodbyes to Pete and Roger. They did not mail it in!
I grew up as a huge fan of The Who. I think I've seen four "farewell tours." I thought about going but decided against shelling out the $$$ for a ticket at United Center. Friends of mine who went had a good time and I had a tinge of regret, but I've seen them live many times and prefer to remember them when they were a bit closer to their prime. While I rarely listen to any of their music these days, I think I've never loved a band more than I loved The Who when I was young. Long Live Rock.

I just finished watching both seasons of The Rehearsal on HBO. It alternated between hilarious, awkward, uncomfortable and bizarre. Ultimately, I settled on "brilliant." But it's not for everyone - or even for most people.
