Does anyone know what time they've been soundchecking this tour?

I rebought Nashville pit tickets over the weekend. Opted for the refund last year. Was able to swing by the box office and save $50 this time. Fingers crossed!

The Tweedy Show Monday April 6 Episode 18 (NEW 9pm CST TIME)
# Gloria (Shadows Of Knight’s cover of Van Morrison’s song on the Tweedy’s jukebox)
Someday Some Morning Sometime
— “do you remember Aydes?” Susie to Jeff
— Someday Some Morning Sometime is in the same tuning as Laminated Cat and the following song
One True Vine (w Spencer on DRUMS!)
— “Jeff, your hat is condom-esque.” - Susie
— Jeff doesn’t remember his song Hazel
Wait Up (Uncle Tupelo cover)
I Wanna Be Your Mama Again (Doug Sahm cover w Spencer on drums and Jeff gets up to move around & sing)
— Jeff strums a bit of Listen To What The Man Said (Wings)
No Matter What (Badfinger cover sung by Spencer)
— Jeff said that Jambase picked the worst performance to put on their site: Lean On Me
— “philosophy truck” - Jeff joking around that Spencer is going to start one with his philosophy degree
— “is that called a rim shot or a rim job?” - Susie
Passenger Side (w Spencer on drums)
— Sammy has a shirt on that says “Don’t Mess With Rhode Island Either”
Ripple (The Grateful Dead cover sung by Sammy w Spencer on knee slaps)
— Jeff says “hi” to Nick Offerman who is in the comments
— Jeff plays a bit of Message To Mid Bar
I Couldn’t Sing It To Your Face (Arthur Russell cover Tweedy family singalong)
Reincarnation (Roger Miller cover)
— Susie talks about skipping Tuesday nights going forward, but they might skip this Wed for Seder. She tells the clients to follow along on the Shot In The Arm FB group for details. They decide to do a show this Tuesday night.
The fact that he played any of message from mid-bar is very exciting to me. Genuinely love that track. Hate will save the dolphins, Jeff.

I worked a long time ago in the concert industry and back then we paid the band a fee then it was up to the promoters pricing the tickets. I don’t think the band can put a ceiling on the prices of the tickets but I believe it’s the promoter/venue maximizing their return and not lining the bands pockets.. I might be wrong though ♂
Look at Radiohead...5 members (well, now 6 touring) with a MASSIVE production and their prices never exceed $120 (normally

Wonder if they’ll add another ny date?
I wondered the same thing. Would seem likely that NYC or DC gets a second show. Unless they're playing Colbert that Monday or something.

DATES ARE OUT!!!!

If it's a joint Wilco/Beck tour that gets announced soon, I will look like a genius!
Please make this a reality. Was so bummed that he's co-headlining w Cage. Love me some Spoon, but Cage is meh...

I wonder how much the limited rehearsal time (

Visualping ... nice. Will it send a notification if the page changes?
Yep. I've used it for years. Works great.

I have a good feeling the North American tour will be announced this week. If this doesn't happen you can all blame me.
Along with an album announcement?
Does anyone have a good script that will spam the "Shows" page with F5?
Also, where are the shows usually announced first? Wilcoworld.net?
I use Visualping. It's a chrome extension. I'll start monitoring the tour dates page.

I wish Garlin's podcast had lasted longer. Agree that the JT one was great. Garlin is just hysterical. His laugh is so infectious. Saw him to his "standup" a few years back and highly recommend catching him live if you have the opportunity.

4th row balcony here for night 2. Can't wait.

2 Knoxville shows announced. 6/5-6. Venue capacity is only 700.

Yeah I’m guessing stipe too dang that stinks only Colin!
So much for Colin! I just assumed it would only be him as he was the only one who'd expressed any interest in it. Knew Thom was tied up w a piano performance he has coming up, and I couldn't see Jonny getting up there ha. I thought Ed and Phil did a great job, though. Watched a FB stream of it last night.

I’ll be there tomorrow night!!
Nice! Very curious to hear what Reznor and Byrne have to say. Also curious as to who they'll put together for RH covers. Guessing Michael Stipe may be involved. Believe Colin is the only member who will be attending.

Nice work! Now you have to jot down the setlist and file a little report...

I asked Grimey's here in Nashville if they could lineup an in store performance for next week. They said it never hurts to ask and that they'd love to host him. Email just went out for next Wednesday @ noon!

Where's the record store?

I'd recognize her if she posts again and I see it. If I do, I'll relay it to you.

Good Lord I wasn't even at this show and that infuriates me. I had a similar encounter at a Wilco Louisville show a few years ago. Dude wanted to fight me after I politely asked them to keep it down. Then they took my wife's purse and moved it down a few seats. Good times!

Looks like that post has since been deleted...guess they were the guilty party after all...beyond lame.
Do Wilco need a producer?

Couldn't agree more with this. Would LOVE to see a Wilco and Nigel Godrich collaboration.
