  1. Wow! He must be bringing the big light show for the tour.

It does appear that at most shows there is a golden circle type situation and the tour has really varied pricing. Austin top tier face at 80, Iowa at 45, Nashville and OKC around 65. Dallas at 70.

Supply and Demand has hit Tweedy Inc. Makes sense.

That actually was for Nashville. Face value was $85 plus fees. The price led me to believe he might have a band w him.

  2. I hope it's solo, too. Was pretty surprised by the price points for the best seats. My tickets came out to $105 a piece after fees and what not. Never had to pay that much for anything Wilco related. I think ~$90 is the most I've spent face for Wilco.

  3. GA for Asheville and Macon and Front Center first row for Nashville.

    I can't be happier.

Glad that the GA shows are separated by 10 days so we don't have to camp out for spots 2 days in a row too!

Are you our Nashville front row neighbor that I was talking to on FB?

  4. Any idea what’s up with the 7pm presales and onsales? Both TM and the venue sites seem to have that. Strange.

I was curious about this, too. I even checked a few minutes ago to see if it would say 10am all of the sudden. Have they ever does on sales at 7pm?

  5. I thought it was a fun conversation and well worth $30 once you include a signed book.

Jason is funny and if you aren't familiar with his humor it may have seemed that he took too much of the time on that.

We heard a hilarious and gruesome Wilco bus sickness story, plans for a spring solo tour, about people in Belleville being dicks, a little more on how the mumble lyrics song writing practice works for Jeff, that he wrote the book mostly from his summer home in MI, that he won't be reading the next book for audio and instead will pass that on to Nick Offerman as it took four days this time, about his only acid trip, and that he's not good at loading the dishwasher but accepts that.

Did it sound like it would be an extensive tour? I know there's an STL date on 2/28. Crossing my fingers for a Nashville date...

  6. Pumpkins were good, but probly in my bottom half for shows this year (hey, they don't all get into the top half, right??).  I thought they were really tight musically, and how can you complain about a 3 hour set? But Billy is definitely an odd duck, and some of his shtick gets old.  The stage and lighting were really cool, the sound was excellent, and the crowd was really good.  There were a lot of empty seats around, and the entire upper deck was curtained off.  And once again I got one of the VIP tickets for regular price a few days ahead of the show so I was in the 3rd row on the floor.  No complaints there.  I had a good time for sure.  But I wouldn't want to catch them twice.

And we're seeing Radiohead on Wednesday in Cincinnati... very excited about that one!

Yea entire upper deck was curtained off in Nashville, too. I picked up a 6th row dead center pair at face off of TM a few weeks ago. Lighting was definitely cool. Costume changes though, really?! Enjoy the Cincy show!! I was so on the fence about adding that one. I'm pretty sure my fiance would call off our wedding this October if I added another RH show this month though ha. Another killer setlist last night.

  7. Smashing Pumpkins

What was you impression of that show? I caught them in Nashville last Friday. Great performances but is was so damn cheesy at times. The ticket sales are pretty embarrassing. Caught Radiohead again last night and they're even tighter than they were in Chicago 2 weekends ago. Hoping they keep the changes up in Boston this weekend. Toronto only had 3 repeats over 2 shows!!!
