It was the Hip that introduced me to Wilco, back in 1997. Wilco was on their Another Roadside Attraction festival tour. I heard Red-Eyed And Blue and fell in love. Bought Being There shortly after. I'm Canadian, and the Hip have always been my first love. A tremendous live band. I'll treasure so many moments and memories. I'm just trying not to bawl my eyes out at work right now.

Songs/Bands you discovered through covers of their songs

I discovered The Handsome Family after hearing Jeff Tweedy cover "So Much Wine" at the Winnipeg Folk Festival a few years ago. I was frantically scribbling down lyrics at the time, thinking this might be another long lost Wilco gem. Now, I adore The Handsome Family. -
Ahhh, thank you! I see them now. As if I haven't spent enough on this band this week, but... I don't care. These setlists look amazing. I've spent way more money in much sillier ways.

Ok, I might be a little bit blind but I'm not seeing these Port Chester shows in the road case right now, and I'm thinking I really want them. This vinyl box set has me swooning hard over this band right now. Could someone perhaps steer me in the right direction?

Hello folks. I haven't been 'round these parts for a long time (so long I had to make a new profile. My old one was unlog-inable). I used to be Lynch, now I'm Mr. Lynch. Anyway... I just ordered the vinyl Alpha Mike Foxtrot through Amazon.ca. The shipping is slightly cheaper to Canada than through the Kung Fu store. I'm pumped. I debated it a bit, but dammit I've loved this band for so long, and this is a pretty amazing collection of tunes and artwork.
