  1. I ahte those Yankees they're so all about money! The Red Sox don't! It's all about Swee y Carlon@!
  2. That's the one! Thanks Maudie.
  3. This will be great if the lil Red Sox can land Santana, that way they can stand a chance of winning the division against those money-grubbing Yankmees and prove you can't buy champiomnships!!
  4. Cool. Anyone have that pic of the family that ran in Spin (I think it was a year end issue) around 2000?
  5. That impawards site doesn't allow external linking. I'm just saying it because I've seen their logo a lot in Now Watching - instead of whatever movie you watched.
  6. Do you know how many more new eps we're gonna see?
  7. As long as we're tossing in songs we think should be on there - P.S.Y. by the Butthole Surfers
  8. I was joking too - I got your joke. C'mon. :lovefest
  9. And the award for Best Subject Header/Subhead of the day, goes to: Larry, just admit it Eight men out Well done bjorn.
  10. There's more pics around - I swear there were a bunch in this thread.
  11. From what I've seen (the teaser, stills, on-the-set shots, magazine covers) it definitely looks badass.
  12. I was gonna say, I felt like Father Time talking to Baby New Year with those references.
  13. I like that it seems to be getting some more recognition, at least in my area - when I asked if they reserve copies of discs, the girl at the counter said "Is this for The Wire?"
  14. Watching tomorrow (reserved at my video store!):
  15. I loved High Fidelity the first time I saw it, when I was a swinging single trying to figure out my love life - a few years later I saw it again as a happily married man and was endlessly annoyed by Cusack's character.
  16. Wow, the Mighty Heroes. I loved them. That reminds me of a time - my brother was managing the local movie theater and had found prints of the Mighty Heroes cartoons in the vaults. One night a bunch of us got mellow and he played the toons for us, after hours of course.
  17. This has been a great weekend for sitting around watching movies. Ahh. This inches closer to the first part with each viewing. This opened ten years ago today, but it was a coincidence that Lady Stewart threw it on yesterday - chokes me up everytime. Radha Mitchell is amazing - why isn't she in more movies?
