A great mix of old and new. Jeff mentioned up front, the challenge of appeasing the every-night attendees with deep tracks, while playing more expected songs (the "hit" as he sometimes jokes) to reward the other guests. This set checked boxes from every era and it really was a treat to have it streamed (thanks Susie!) and feel like part of the audience for the last night of the Largo run.

I liked the emphasis on new songs and a few choice deep cuts. I love California Stars but as you say, we’ve heard it many many many times and if there’s an obligation to honor the locale, perhaps we can nominate Magazine Called Sunset as the new requisite California song?? Or Jeff did offer up Californication and we didn’t have the nerve to dare him. Great seeing some old friends and making new ones in the line. I’m less homesick for the old Vic shows, having a venue like Largo.

Kudos all around for the standers keeping everyone on their feet. That felt like a win. See y'all at the Bellwether—SRO.
