i'd forgotten the g. parsons nudie suit guy! i loved the neil diamond costume until the wearer wouldn't stop singing "coming to america" AT me.
-
at the halloween show in louisville, the band took a 20 min break before the encore and came back in full KISS regalia. one guess who was sporting the gene simmons wig!
there are a couple pix over on the mmj board.

Thanks, guys! As this is the deadline night for the last paper before elections, I am not having a great deal of fun per se, but I do appreciate the warm wishes.
*see Lou Grant comment above

Are those pats of butter in the Jell-O salad?
nothing about that thing is appetizing.
and the only thing cool about it is the use of green jello.

i just posted this in poppydawn's b-day thread, but thinking it would make a creepy avatar:

Did we earn that encore or what?
your "smokin" clip is terrific!! i just put an "on the phone" sign on my office door, closed it and spent a few minutes rocking out to your clip!

stooka i was there, too! damn, but "his master's voice" is a brilliant show ender. so stirring.
that mike mogis is fun to watch. everytime i looked to him he had a different instrument.
"smokin" was a highlight for me as well. completely unexpected. by the end i was singing and hollering. it felt GREAT!
thanks for the setlist. i kept one, but it was full of blanks where the bright eyes songs should have been listed.
m. ward was brilliant all night long. "sandman" was gorgeous!
did you happen to see the girl climb over the rail after the show? twice? during "another travelling song" she yelled in my ear, "should i go over the rail?" i'm just glad she didn't try to go over during ...master's voice.
the encore was fantastic! (hey, just noticed that you missed "At Dawn." they played it between "Map" and "To Save Me"
i went to the show in los angeles last night. jim was throwing down some serious moves

"tobias, are you blue?"
"only on the outside, michael."
-
man, i'm glad i read about this after he'd been found in the attic.
sweet jesus.

tin machine performed "if there is something" on tv. it was terrific! the only person who can credibly cover roxy music is david bowie.
-
"why don't you marry an ice-cream sandwhich?!"
"All rise, Bud Cort is now in session."
"lose the puppet."
