  1. Are those inlays on opposite sides of the bridge bins used to cover up two screws? What was Gibson and Epi thinking?

I have always loved this model.....great score! Treat her well. congrats on a wonderful and underated guitar.

If you have the time, can I get some measurements from that?

    1) Nut Length or string spacing if possible

    2) Scale Length (nut to saddle)

    3) Upper Bout

    4) Lower Bout

    5) Waist

I'll try and measure this out tomorrow. I know the nut length is 2 inches, very wide, great for fingerpicking.

  2. Sweet, man. Congrats. It's a beauty.

You bought it without playing it? Sight unseen?

I am always wary of that. I need to get over it, clearly. I am not going to stumble upon a gem like that at the local guitar center.

Yeah it was a risk, but they've been going for $1500-$2000 and this one slipped through the cracks on ebay for $700. Turns out it was a good risk. It's in great shape.

  3. No, I think Vancouver would be more suitable for the winter than the summer games. It gets kind of cold up there :lol

The summers are beautiful in Vancouver. I could see the summer games being done there. Although, really good skiing...

  4. Hey folks --

Just wondering if anyone knows any places that have a good price and quality on getting some CDs made. Not a huge run, maybe 100 - 500. I would want the actual disks printed and the jacket, etc. I'm open to any suggestions and experiences. Basically, I don't want to get an album pressed and have it come in the mail looking like shit.

  6. ^^^Hot damn! Are those strings any good? Usually I use D'addario phosphor bronze light for acoustic.

Yeah they are good quality, I perform often and use them all the time. It's crazy because they don't even have their own website, you have to call them up and place the order and send them a check. I was weary about doing this at first, but a friend referred them to me, so I decided to trust him and sure enough about a week later I got a dozen sets of strings back.
