  1. There are two songs that I would confidently say are good: "A Falling Through" and "Let It Be Me," the latter some of you have probably already heard already. After that..... "Winter Birds" is decent enough. I LOVED Trouble, one of my favorite albums of the last 10 years. I grew to like Till The Sun Turns Black, and I guess there's a possibility that I will grow to like this one as well. I feel this one just added too much. A Ray LaMontagne record doesn't need horns and tons of effects.

  2. what do you think?

scored a copy of it a couple weeks ago from a friend, pretty lame it got pushed back to January tho

it's a lot more Creek Dipper-ish than i'd have liked... was hoping for more Jayhawks-esque harmonies, but it's still great to hear them harmonize together again (even if Gary's voice has held up better through the years)

Really like the second track "Bike" as well as "Kick The Wood" - only made it through once so far. No physical copy for me, just streaming press link.

  3. Hi guys. I know there are some fans of Two Cow Garage on the board. In fact, I think it was some of you that introduced me to their greatness. That being said, I just got my hands on their upcoming record Speaking In Cursive. Highly recommended for fans of Lucero or Drive-By Truckers.

I posted two tracks on my site:

If you go to their label's site you can find another track as well.

    Enjoy! Real good stuff.

  4. same :music

easily my favorite of theirs yet and one of the year's best albums, no doubt in my mind...

I liked their last record, but it had too much that didn't seem to fit. This record is great start to finish. They still need to sell me on their live show though. Seen them twice and wasn't all that.
