  1. More on the genesis of the Dawned on Me video, and the spinach tie-in. Weird but fun. http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/comic-riffs/post/when-popeye-met-wilco/2012/01/26/gIQAcaQGVQ_blog.html#pagebreak?tid=sm_twitter_washingtonpost
  2. Hmm.... maybe this URL will work? http://www.jambands.com/Features/content_2008_07_22.02.phtml (the URL shouldn't have a period at the end) If not, just google Wilco and July 3, 2000 and that should yield the jambands.com review. Oh, and I heard from the author that he is working on a review of Wilco(The Album) which should appear on jambands.com right around the album release date...

  5. Regarding this quote below about the AOAF DVD, if any of you Wilco fans in the greater Chicagoland area want to learn more about what you can do on a local level to support your Main Street business districts and neighborhood retailers, check out the National Main Streets Conference at the Palmer House Hilton in Chicago on Sunday, March. 1. There is a series of four free trainings starting at 8:30 and lasting until 6 pm. This conference is run by the National Trust for Historic Preservation which has a very effective approach for saving downtowns from sprawl and suburbs. I've gone to this co
  6. So hard to choose: "I would like to salute The ashes of American flags And all the fallen leaves Filling up shopping bags" "And the gray fountain spray of the great Milky Way Would never let him Die alone" "Tires type black Where the blacktop cracks Weeds spark through Dark green enough to be blue" ....and these are just the ones I can think of immediately. Thanks to all who've posted. I've smiled at each one and that has made my morning.
