  1. tonight i heard a song from Decemberists' "Crane Wife" and immediately i thought of Natalie.  i thought, Natalie was alive when this album came out.  she didn't like it.  her comment about it was something close to, "let us never speak of progressive rock again." :lol

my sig line here has a quote from Nat that i use often, but mostly i think it rather than say it out loud.  i'd just have to explain it.

boy, i miss her.   to Natopia! :wine :love

  2. "I knew he had five or six; I didn't know what kind they were. It didn't matter what kind of guns they were. I have guns. I respect guns as long as they're handled properly, safely. And one of the stipulations before moving in was to have a gun safe before he moved in," James said.

So this clown pretends to advocate for proper and a safe handling of guns, but he doesn't know know what kind of guns are in his house, or how many.  Sounds really proper and safe to me.

He also says he thought he was the only one with a key to the gun safe, so he's definitely lying about something. Either the kid kept his guns in a different safe (or wherever), or the father didn't know what guns were in the safe that he had the "only" key to.

  3. It will be the "best and most watched State of the Union address in the history of the nation" regardless of what the actual numbers are.

Gonna go ahead and take credit for this one:

Thank you for all of the nice compliments and reviews on the State of the Union speech. 45.6 million people watched, the highest number in history. @FoxNews beat every other Network, for the first time ever, with 11.7 million people tuning in. Delivered from the heart!

  4. Rating are very important to him so if enough people don't watch tonite, that message of him not being liked/loved will be noticed.

It will be the "best and most watched State of the Union address in the history of the nation" regardless of what the actual numbers are.

  5. looks like the Giants are tanking in the hopes of getting the next franchise quarterback in the draft. Eli will be in Jacksonville or Denver next year. sad.

Don't rule out Washington fumbling away Kirk Cousins and making a play for a 37 year old retread before slipping quietly back into irrelevancy.

  6. Not sure, Lammy would be the one to consult.

Btw, I've had mouse traps inside and outside the truck for a week now and haven't gotten one yet. Perplexing.

Take one of your wife's (or your) old pantyhose, put mothballs in the toe, tie it off, and put them under the truck.

When we were living in Providence, we had a rat somehow get stuck to the bottom of the catalytic converter and die - probably brushed against it when it was hot and couldn't free itself until it died. Took a long time to figure out where the smell was coming from.

  7. Today I found mouse droppings in my truck. WTFF.

I am going nuclear on these bastards. Unconditional warfare/blitzkrieg/no prisoners/scorched earth.

Do you think you can fit the truck in your microwave?
