Man, it's been a long time since I listened to this album. Perfect mood-setter for me tonight... need this, desperately.
I'd completely forgotten about that - I'm going to dig my copy out. Some really great sound textures on that.

Not long till the second half of the season - new trailer up:

Phew, well, almost glad that's over - what a mad end to the tour. Nice to see Cav get the green jersey.
-
I picked up some Lowe on vinyl and some Hitchcock on CD. Even their international shipping wasn't outrageous.

Union was, almost, their attempt at making some "accessible" 90's rock, and suffered.
I thought the fact I couldn't hum a tune from ABWH was the point

I'd read All The Pretty Horses recently and thoroughly enjoyed that. Brilliant book. Not really sure why I went back to Cormac as I read The Road and was really disappointed in it. I seem to be by myself on that one though.

Yes. Again. Ha.
I liked that Anderson, Bruford, Wakeman and Howe LP. Probably better than some of the other Yes albums.
Also, this version of Yes has got Wakeman's son in it, not Wakeman.

Just finished:
Which I found a little weird in tone - the third person narrator delivery was a little off putting, but it's a story that's not quite depressing and not quite uplifting.
Now on to:
-
This was some amazing TV. Bought the book on the weekend to help fill in the gaps.
-
Talk has got some bloody awful lyrics on it though.
I've got tickets to see this "reconditioned" Yes in November. Bringing my old man along. Not sure on the new album, can't quite get over the new vocalist sounding spookily like Jon.

There's no way I'm looking at that picture. I can guess what it looks like

Seabrook Power Plant - Seabrook Power Plant II

Absolutely gutted Wiggins is out. Can't get over the drama of yesterday's stage - madness. The french TV car taking out the Team Sky rider was unbelievable.
Rest day today, so I guess everyone gets a chance to take a breather and repair themselves.

Does Spencer Krug ever stop?

f'n LOVE that album. sadly i didn't take to their 2nd one nearly as much and i don't think i even heard their 3rd :/
All three are on Spotify, so listened to them all yesterday. Certainly the first one knocks spots off the rest, but the third one was almost a return to form.
Worth having a listen to.
