Groo
I'm looking to buy a nice guitar amp. I want to be able to plug it directly into my computer (for recording purposes), using a 1/4" out (if I'm retarded for doing this, lemme know, btw). My dad has a Roland keyboard amp that works great for this sort of thing.
bxb03a
Guitar amps sound like shit recorded directly in my opinion.....I have had great luck with a small speakered amp and a shure -sm57 mic. Look into the epiphone valve jr amps

anodyne
there are some amps that sound decent recorded direct. i've gotten good sounds plugging the guitar directly into the board and using amp models at a studio where we went once. if you don't know a lot about mic placement, direct recording will be CONSISTENT, which might be nice. i have a carvin bel air that does the line out thing, but i haven't had a chance to use that feature yet.
