WildMercurySound
So i damaged the line out jack on my laptop, so now when my speakers are hooked up to it, sound only fully comes out of the left speaker. My question is, is this easily repaired, and is there a way to turn one of the two line in jacks into a line out? I know nothing about these things so forgive me if i am talking crap. My Zen Micro died this week also, so it's a tough week for music and me.

May be just be a loose wire - all you would need to do is solder it. http://www.aaroncake.net/electronics/solder.htm http://www.hplx.net/hardware.speaker.html
froggie
or you might able to get a mono adapter that you can plug into it, but i assume you want stereo? the loose wire thing mentioned above sounds likely. i did it once, soldered it and works like a charm now
