Loose Fur - Wanted

Recommended Posts

This is my take on the song Wanted by Loose Fur, it is mainly a piano song, but this is how I play it on guitar, it sounds slightly off, but sounds good played alone. Any criticism is more than welcome.

Intro

e---------------------------------|

B----9-9---7-7---9-9---7-7-----|

G----9-9---7-7---9-9---7-7-----|

D----9-9---7-7---9-9---7-7-----| X 2

A----7-7---5-5---7-7---5-5-----|

E---------------------------------|

Verse

(I think the piano actually plays something like this)

e--------------------------------------------------------|

B----9-9---7-7---9-9---7-7----------------------------|

G----9-9---7-7---9-9---7-7--------7h9-9------7h9-9-|

D----9-9---7-7---9-9---7-7----7h9--------7h9--------|

A----7-7---5-5---7-7---5-5----------------------------|

E---------------------------------------------------------|

(But I like to play this and try to catch part of the guitar riff at the end)

e-----------------------------------------------7------------|

B----9-9---7-7---9-9---7-7--------------------10-8-----|

G----9-9---7-7---9-9---7-7--------7h9-9----------- 9---|

D----9-9---7-7---9-9---7-7----7h9--------------------|

A----7-7---5-5---7-7---5-5----------------------------|

E---------------------------------------------------------|

Chorus

(This part is a little shady, I am having trouble picking out the chords exactly, this sounds close to me though)

Am____________Em

shes not so well rounded

________C___________Am

she has points you can't see

____Am______________Em

she does whatever she wants

______C_____________Am

and i swear she wanted me

That's my take on it, but the chorus sounds pretty sloppy, If anyone wants to add to this it would be greatly appreciated.

Cool...welcome and thanks for tabbing that out.

i think, for me, rather than E - D repeated, i play that first chord (where your doing the emajor bar)

as a modified G (i use a capo on 5)

with capo on 5 the end of the verse riff using that modified g chord looks like this:

e5----------------------------------------------------------------------------5---7---5--------|

b5--------------5----5-------------------5----5-------------------8--8--5-----------------8--|

g5--------------9----9-------7---7------9----9------7----7------5----------------------------|

d5--------------x----x-------7---7------x----x------7----7-------5----------------------------|

a5-------------10---10------5---5------10--10-----5----5------7---------------------------|

e5-------------------------------------------------------------------8---------------------------|

and i think that the chorus is almost definitely

Am - G - Em - C

Am - G - F - C - D

  • 2 months later...

Does anyone know exactly how the harmonized guitar effect at the end of this tune is achieved? Is it just two or more guitars or is there some effect at work? What exactly is the harmonization? Octaves? Fifths? Thanks!
