New video for Califone's 3Legged Animals

Recommended Posts

Are the videos going to be by Brent Green? Is this by Brent Green? I saw his animated short films performed with Califone live at the Wexner Center for the Performing Arts last November (Columbus, OH), and judging by those stylistically, I could believe this was done by Brent Green. But I don't see any credits, so ... ?

And ... how about that alternate version of 3-Legged Animals? I LOVE that! And why does it come up as being performed by some Christian artist, Jeremy somebody?

And ... why on Brent Green's website Nervous Films in the "Projects" section does it say this:

2007

March/April

Heh- you do have a lot of questions. Lemme see-

- I don't think that this video is by Brent, but I could be wrong. He hasn't said anything to me about it, or anything at all, really, in the last few months.

- The alternate version of 3Legged Animals is surely cool, and that Christian music attribution thing is awfully funny, but alas, I don't know why it be so.

- The MPLS show may or may not be Califone. I don't have any MPLS dates from Califone, but it could still happen. My guess is that it might not involve everyone, but will probably somehow involve Jim.

Alright. Gotta get out of here. I've already worked 1hr past 5PM!!!!111 I'm feeling kind of loopy!

Wheeeeeeee!

3Legged Animals is my favorite tune on Roots and Crowns. Since the voice/lyrics are sort of stream of consciousness rather than narrative, I think the video suits perfectly.

Thanks for keeping us updated owl. This is my most listened to band right now, tied with Sin Ropas, another Red Red Meat progeny.

This is a great song. Thanks for posting this...now I'm certain I need this CD. ;)

(And the video is very "Mr. Phudd-esque" for lack of a better description.)
