i would certainly put a huge number of Dylan records below it, probably more than above it too.

My main gripe about MT is that any other musician could create something like that and get 6.1s, C+s, or 3/5 stars, what have you; but because it's Dylan, MT gets 5 stars.

oh it's certainly not 5 stars, but it's easily 3.5-4, no question there

I don't believe in giving a piece of music numbers - I listen with the heart, not the head.

 

I would prefer Bob Dylan write songs in the vein of Political World - not songs about floating down the river with riverboat dudes.

 

I think Neil Young said something like this about him not to long ago.

 

But - at the end of the day - he is going to make whatever music he wants to make.

 

Some people will dig it, others will not.
