Jacob
Hey all Went to my first Wilco gig on last Sat in Sydney Aus and it was awesome! Not to detract anything from the show, but I was wondering if anyone knew what song was used for the intro before they came on? I don't think it was the house music. I've searched in vain for clues... but no dice! Some set lists i've look at suggested the Bob Newhart show theme but i listened to that and it wasn't it. cheers
Kalle
Was it the horn intro?
WaronWar
What artist is the horn intro because it's a great song.
Kalle
They had that intro for the Canadian tour last year too. Then for the Fall tour I believe they had that synthesizer music, someone knew who the composer was but I can't remember his name. Japanese I think.
velocity253
for that summer leg of the tour last year when they played canada, i remember the intro as henry and the H-bombs done on horns. is this wrong? and then later for the fall they had that japanese music which was airy and fantastic. i missed the intro for the sydney show but loved that they played "do it to be satisfied" at the end. Kalle
Here is the recording of the intro from Massey Hall last year so someone could identify it. http://www.sendspace.com/file/pww33q
Jacob
It had an awesome baseline that had a distinctive pattern. Possibly a song from the 70's although i couldn't be sure. I don't think there were horns....
