Gobias Industries
Henry & The H Bombs tabbed by pt based off of Tweedy solo shows You have G chords, C chords, and D chords. G C D -3- -0- -2- -3- -1- -3- -0- -0- -2- -0- -2- -0- -2- -3- -0- -3- --- --- Ah, yes, it sounds more than that live, right? Well, here's the trick: Whenever you do a G, you want to toss in this little lick: ------3 -3----3 -2h4h20 ------0 ------2 ------3 Whenever you do a C, you want to toss in this little lick ------0 ------1 ------0 -0h2p0 ------2 ------3 And when you chance upon a D, you have two options: -2----2 -3----3 -2h4p2 -0---0 ------ ------ or: -2----2 -3----3 -0----2 -0---0 ------ ------ You also want to do walk-ups from your G to your C, pretty much every time you move from [G] to [C]: The bottom two strings, the rest are unnecessary: A--0-2 E-3--- And the chords: [G]-[C]-[D]-[G]-[C]-[D] [G] Down in the basement [C] Stands his brother on a fender bass guitar when [D] We were looking for a suitable replacement [G] To play for Henry and the H-Bombs [C] I can't remember don't know where we got the name from [D] All I know is that we've been together too long [G] I can't make it with Henry and the H-Bombs [C] Don't you know he comes on about the flowers [G] He can talk for hours and for hours [D] About the rain and the showers [G] But his whole trip is a power [C] So get along in the meanwhile [G] Cause heaven knows it could change in a wing while [D] That's no way to treat your boy [D] (pause) Halfway faking it, halfway taking it [G] Henry and the H-Bombs [C] I can't remember don't know where we got the name from [D] All I know is that we've been together too long [G] I ain't making it with Henry and the H-Bombs [C] Don't you know he comes on about the flowers [G] He can talk for hours and for hours [D] About the rain and the showers [G] But his whole trip is a power [C] So get along in the meanwhile [G] Cause heaven knows it could change in a wing while [D] That's no way to make love [D] (pause) Halfway faking it, halfway taking it [G] Henry and the H-Bombs [G]-[C]-[D]-[G] There you go! There's probably a couple of mistakes/misalignments of chords, just let me know.
