jakobnicholas
Pitchfork, eat your heart out. Below is a review that, like Pitchfork, found SBS to be slightly above average. But what a difference in the execution! No "dad-rock" or Weather Channel references. Instead, we get comparisons to Lennon and McCartney and a much more fair and accurate description of Impossible Germany. | WILCO
wheelco
Don't complain too much about this review - our local paper, The Columbus Dispatch, called it "studiously contrived" and lacking in melodies in a two paragraph review this morning.
uncle wilco
tim finn seems to devote more time to covering american idol than actual music reviews lately. it's a nice enough review, i guess. nothing to get riled up about. he acknowleged that it will grow on you. nothing to see here really. unposed_question
This is at least the second review (Rolling Stone being the other) to highlight "Impossible Germany". I reiteratemy prediction that this will be the defining song of the album.
