cryptique
I've got golden "globes," but I thought it'd be bragging to start a thread about them.
Atticus
American Gangster Atonement Eastern Promises The Great Debaters Michael Clayton No Country for Old Men There Will Be Blood I've not seen any of the best drama contenders. Which should I try to see first? Is Atonement even out nationwide?

TheMaker
I'm really puzzled by Atonement's win. Not only that it was chosen over the two finest American films in many years (NCFOM and TWBB), but that it's garnered any praise at all. The only movie I've walked out on this year. Not quite artless, but hardly engrossing. To each their own, I suppose... And for all that I loved both Ratatouille and The Diving Bell and The Butterfly, I can't help feeling like Persepolis got shafted somehow.
isadorah
is it just me or does it seem like the golden globes don't count this year since there was no pomp and circumstance and sparkley dresses???
