PopTodd
Yeah, I had no idea that he was gonna be on. And not only that, but he had Billy Gibbons (ZZ Top) sitting in on guitar! It wasn't on either of the Chicago PBS stations, but if you are in the Chicago area and were lucky enough to get the Gary, IN PBS station (like me), then you got to see this pretty excellent show. The set (of what I saw) was very heavy on songs from The Evil One (which I love) and other tunes that he did with The Aliens. Also, I did not hear a single Elevators song. Roky sounded good, but his voice has obviously lost a little of that unearthly howl that he used to have. He wasn't jumping around or anything, but he was still a presence, as you can imagine he would be. The band was great, it was fun to see Billy Gibbons, and the songs stand up remarkably well. Analogman
They did You're Gonna Miss Me. I saw some of that Friday night.
jff
Also, I did not hear a single Elevators song. I saw it in Atlanta. Didn't he open with "You're Gonna Miss Me"? That's an Elevators song. Thanks for the info about those other tunes. I'm not as familiar with his post-Elevators work.

mountain bed
I can't believe I missed this. We get ACL on Saturday nights - not a good time, I'm never home then.
