yermom
Crappy windy day! Wind is my least favorite weather issue...not good for my hair. Thanks to the wind knocking out power in some parts of town, I just went furniture shopping in the dark. The sales guy carried a big flashlight through the store shining it on stuff for us. It was good times. ...HIGH WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM CST THIS AFTERNOON... ... WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING TO MIDNIGHT CST TONIGHT... A HIGH WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM CST THIS AFTERNOON. A WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING TO MIDNIGHT CST TONIGHT. WINDS WILL SHIFT TO THE NORTHWEST BEHIND A COLD FRONT TODAY. SUSTAINED WIND SPEEDS WILL BE OVER 40 MPH AT TIMES THIS AFTERNOON...WITH GUSTS OVER 50 MPH. WIND SPEEDS THIS EVENING WILL BE FROM 25 TO 35 MPH...WITH GUSTS OVER 40 MPH. TREES AND POWER LINES MAY BE DOWNED IN SOME AREAS...WITH SOME PROPERTY DAMAGE POSSIBLE. A HIGH WIND WARNING MEANS SUSTAINED WIND SPEEDS WILL EXCEED 40 MPH AT TIMES. A WIND ADVISORY MEANS THAT SUSTAINED WINDS OVER 30 MPH ARE EXPECTED. WINDS THIS STRONG CAN MAKE DRIVING DIFFICULT... ESPECIALLY FOR HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES. USE EXTRA CAUTION.
