PopTodd
Just last week, i bashed my guitar and... HOLY CRAP! THAT'S IT!!! It's a simple one, so...all open strings (from A to E) with 2nd fret held down on both B and E strings (making a D and G, respectively. So... A,D,G,D,G, low to high). Best chord ever. bedbug
2nd fret held down on both B and E strings (making a D and G, respectively. I think you mean 3rd fret. In any event, I've always played it:D to E strings: F A D G --3-- --3-- --2-- --3-- --x-- --x--
froggie
i always thought it was a G7, played as a barre chord at the 3rd fret
PopTodd
i always thought it was a G7, played as a barre chord at the 3rd fret Someone at another board posted this as the "correct" chord (barred across the 3rd fret): To me, though it is too resonant to be any sort of a barre chord. Barre chords just don't ring out like that, 12-string or not.

Mr. Kinsley
There's a piano in there, as well...I'm pretty sure that would cover more than one fret.
idigworms
I'm pretty sure that would cover more than one fret. Exactly.
