Twangfest Auction (w/ Wilco stuff!)

Twangfest is a grass roots, volunteer-based music festival in St. Louis, presented by KDHX Community Media. Dates are June 4-7, 2008.

We're having an auction to raise some funds for the festival. Check it out:

Lots of stuff signed by Jeff Tweedy and John Stirratt (we gave them a big bag when they were in St. Louis a few weeks ago, and they took the time to sign after the Friday show at the Pageant; thanks guys!).

 

All proceeds from this auction benefit Twangfest and KDHX Community Media in St. Louis.

 

Highlights include:

Mermaid Avenue vinyl, signed by Jeff Tweedy and John Stirratt!

Scores of rare and out-of-print No Depression magazines.

Twangfest can be a good time, but I really wish Richmond Fontaine would come back.

Oh, thanks Analogman. I didn't see that other thread!

 

Jay signed the Uncle Tupelo stuff first (and man, did Jay sign; I put him to work one afternoon over lattes; he said it wasn't as bad as signing the mounds of stuff fans in Japan bring :) ). Jeff signed after that, separately, and I wasn't there. I'm sure he didn't mind.

 

Thanks again for the interest in the auction. Hope some of you all can make Twangfest 12. It's going to be the best ever!

I meant - good luck in getting posts in your thread - as that one I am made pretty much died. I would love to go to one of those shows.
