If you don't have the track, I can yousentit an mp3 after work.

Just out of curiosity, could you post that mp3? I would like to hear a solo worthy of having its own tab. That is not meant to be condescending or anything, I just love Magazine and all of its versions!

Good lord, sir! What a brilliant, twenty-first century solution! :lol I'll post that sucker in 90 minutes.

Thanks speed racer. I will see about tabbing it after work.

Thanks! I think I figured most of it out - I have a working solo that sounds pretty nice - but I tab slower than a Meryl Streep drama. And I'm lazy. And I think the collective VC would like to have it in the files.

I agree 99% of what was posted above. I added the lyrics and altered some chord names (we can argue those until the cows come home, I know; but I see the bridge as walking bass notes, not different chords. YMMV), adjusted capo position and added a slight variation to the solo. Let me know what you guys/gals think.

Nice to have it with the lyrics. :thumbup

I actually had the Bm variants listed the way you have them initially, as that's how I think of them too, but ended up changing them to what the guitar chord program was calling them. I prefer the original way too as it makes more sense. The C/B sounds better than the G//B I had :).

The capo is definitely on the 4th fret for this version, but yeah, most of us are used to hearing it played with capo on the 2nd fret. Not sure when he went with the lower key for this one, but I'm sure it was probably for vocal reasons.

I definitely hear him play the 4th fret D string in the 2nd bar of the solo, but your version works good too, and is a bit easier to play for the average guitarist.

I was wondering if anyone had tabbed out the solo before going back into the bridge on "Magazine (Tweedy, Chicago 9-13-2000)" off of Alpha Romeo Tango. Many thanks

BTW, what is Alpha Romeo Tango? Some sort of YHF rare release or something? If it is a bootleg, could someone post it? It is not on owlandbear oddly enough, thanks in advance!
