This was the 3rd straight sellout for Nada Surf at The Paradise - one of my favorite rock clubs in the country. The soundman was battling all night and lost. I saw them a couple years ago in Boston at the Middle East, and they didn't play it.. They played a lot of other great songs from that album, but just not the most Popular song of their career. I have seen them 5 times and they have only played it 2 times? Popular in the context of their careers does not fit into their style at all.
