bourbonbreath Posted April 18, 2009 Share Posted April 18, 2009 it seems that the only thing that is keeping me sane after knee surgery on thursday is the wilco show in birmingham on wednesday. i know it will be a great show and i am very anxious... haven't seen the band live since the Chastain Park show in the pouring rain back in 07. this will also be my 20th time to see them since 1999... a landmark occasion since this is only the third time since i became a fan in '99 that they've been here (one was a tweedy solo show). as i recover i am dreaming of an 'at least that's what you said' opening to just kick the shit out of everyone from the start... is that too much to wish for?
