PopTodd
My 10-year-old decided to get back into playing guitar, and so he used the money he'd been saving for an iPod Touch to pick this up, instead:(Lightly used. $65.) I'm so proud.Having a little lesson/jam session with him after work today. Any other musicians on this board ever jam with their parent or child? It's a kin to playing catch, for the athletically challenged.
John Smith
My son (12) plays bass, but does not want to play old guy music with his dad.
jff
I used to jam with my grandmother and grandfather. She played piano and organ and he played trumpet. I was on the drums. "All of Me" was our best tune.
Moss
My daughter has been playing piano since she was 3 but is now picking up guitar at the age of 14. I have been teaching her some simple Jenny Lewis, some Grateful Dead, Wilco of course. She is picking it up pretty quick actually.
