Tommy74
I am going to the upcoming Jeff Tweedy solo show in Chicago this August and I have a question for VC Nation. As a kind of pre-wedding honeymoon my gal and I decided to splurge and buy VIP tickets, which grants us access to a "meet and greet" with Jeff after the show. Here is my question: Would it be out of line to ask Jeff to take a quick picture with us? I've watched footage of Jeff politely field some of the most ridiculous questions ever posed to a human, let alone a celebrity. I would like to thank him for making beautiful music and touring so frequently, then ask for the pic. The last thing I want to do is piss off my favorite musician, so let me know what you guys think. Thanks much.
gogo
Lots of folks here have had their picture taken with Jeff, and most of those weren't even at official meet-and-greets, so I think you'd be totally OK to ask for a picture in that context.
Sandoz
pre-wedding event? ask jeff if he can officiate your wedding ceremony.or perhaps that might fall into this "most ridiculous questions ever posed to a human" category you just mentioned?
froggie
go for it!
Tommy74
Thanks for all of the good advice. I am marrying a very nice Jewish girl, so the venue would be perfect for Jeff to officiate the wedding I think it's the same synagogue where Spencer Tweedy had his Bar Mitzvah.
