RaspberryJam
Agreed it is an excellent venue.Today's tip: there is a back hall to the bathrooms to the left of the stage and a convenient located-slightly hidden bar there also.

Anyway I'm sure you got your own back with the Bacharach gag (cheeky f*****). Sadly won't be there this time - any more than the twice already this week would probably be overdoing it. But come over to London in November and I'll buy you a beer. Hope you get as varied a set over the two nights as we got last time.
tinnitus photography
wow, Wilco's playing Vicar St? that's a pretty cozy venue to see them. when i lived in ireland i saw Echo/Bunnymen, Calexico, and The Go-Betweens there. i didn't get tickets to any of the three sold-out Nick Cave solo shows...no tickets to be had out front from scalpers either. broc
The bar/toilet combo to the left is really handy. It's a great venue. Seen heaps of gigs there, including The Go-Betweens as someone previously mentioned. I miss those guys a lot. Tweedy solo there a few years ago was fantastic. Can't really push it for the second night but it's good to see it has also sold out. I looked for Shaking Sugar/Alone as a request on the website but unfortunately it's not listed.
