slane323
I was recently (in fact yesterday) perusing myspace.com of something new and fresh to listen to, because I feel like I've at least heard OF it all before, and stumbled across what appears to be a trio out of Birmingham, AL. These guys look like pretty substantial Wilco fans and have a really cool sort of folk pop vibe about them that really caught my attention. To me, they sound like a Throw Me The Statue/Phoenix hybrid. Very green, but something to keep an eye on for sure. Here's a link to their stuff if you're interested in checking it out:http://www.myspace.com/somebodysomethings

Sir Stewart
I was relieved when slane cleared up exactly when it was perusing myspace.com - 'recently' is so vague!
slane323
hey, "slane", what do you think of Gentle Giant? i really dig their stuff. very 70's-ish, and they've definitely got some really cool guitar riffs. the slow stuff's beautiful!
